Your questions, answered.

Can my dark vanity be painted white?

Yes. A dark vanity can become white or another light colour when the cabinet material is sound. We prepare the existing finish and include the primer and coats needed for coverage. You can choose a colour that works with the countertop and tile you are keeping.

Can you paint a vanity that has water damage?

The damaged material needs attention first. Paint will not reverse swelling, loose laminate or softened board around a sink. Send close-ups of those areas; we will explain whether preparation is enough or a repair or replacement is needed before painting.

Are the sides and cabinet interior included?

We list the visible sides, frames, door faces, backs and interiors you want finished. Interior shelves and cupboard bases are not automatically included in an exterior repaint. Reviewing these details in the quote gives you a clear picture of the completed vanity.

Do the sink and countertop have to come out?

Not necessarily. Many vanity-painting projects can be planned with them in place and protected. We review the access around your unit and confirm the approach. Plumbing changes, sink replacement and countertop work are separate jobs rather than part of a standard painting scope.

Can I use the bathroom during the project?

We agree on access and the work sequence with you. There may be periods when the vanity area needs to remain clear for preparation, coating or drying. We explain when it can be used again and how to keep water and cleaning products off the fresh finish.

Can the handles be changed too?

Yes, we can discuss hardware changes with the repaint. Confirm the new handles before preparation, especially if their fixing holes differ. Filling, drilling and installation responsibilities are agreed in the quote so the new finish and hardware are planned together.
