See the preparation and scope
Scuffed baseboards, yellowed trim and worn doors can stand out even beside freshly painted walls. Bringing those details together gives a room a more finished feel.
We identify the pieces, door faces and colours included, then plan cleaning, repairs and preparation around the existing finish. Walls, floors and hardware are protected as part of the agreed work.

Illustrative examples to help you plan your project.
Dark trim to a fresh white.
The starting point: The woodwork feels heavier than the walls and furniture around it.
What we can do: We review the existing coating and prepare for the lighter finish, including the primer and coats needed for coverage.
Scuffed baseboards and doors refreshed.
The starting point: Corners and frequently touched areas have picked up marks.
What we can do: We define the repairs and preparation, then refinish the listed pieces in an agreed colour and sheen.
Doors, frames and baseboards together.
The starting point: The details have been painted at different times and no longer match.
What we can do: We record a consistent finish or your chosen contrast, with door faces and room boundaries clearly identified.

A little thank-you, too. You will receive a gift basket as our way of saying thank you for trusting us with your project.
Your questions, answered.
Can stained or dark wood trim be painted white?
Yes, when the wood and existing finish are suitable. We clean and prepare the surface, use the appropriate primer and plan enough coats for coverage. Stain bleed or a glossy old finish may need particular preparation, which is considered before painting begins.
Do you paint both sides of each door?
We can, and the quote will say which faces and edges are included. A door between rooms may have different colours on each side. Frames, stops and surrounding trim are identified too, so everyone is clear about where each finish goes.
Can you fill nail holes and repair small dents?
Yes, suitable filling and minor surface repairs can be included with painting. Show us damaged corners and gaps when we review the work. Broken or missing trim needs a separate repair decision rather than an assumption that paint will hide it.
Will you protect my flooring and walls?
Yes, protection for the agreed work areas is part of the plan. We discuss access, furniture and delicate nearby finishes before starting. The crew manages the preparation and painting, then cleans up the areas used for the project.
Can you change yellowed trim without repainting the walls?
Yes. A trim-only project can refresh the woodwork while keeping your existing wall colour. We confirm the boundaries and protect surrounding finishes. If the new trim colour makes older wall paint look different, we can discuss that during colour planning.
When can I close the doors and clean the trim?
We explain this for the coating used on your project. Paint can feel dry before it is ready for firm contact, scrubbing or repeated use. Follow the crew’s guidance for closing doors against stops and seals and for cleaning the fresh finish.
