Fresh colour, with attention to the surface underneath.

A new colour starts with a sound surface. We review cracks, loose areas and moisture marks before agreeing on repairs and painting.

See the preparation and scope

Stucco has texture that changes with the light, and a new colour can make a large difference to an exterior. Cracks, loose areas and moisture marks need their own attention before finishing.

We review the visible condition and define the painting and suitable minor repairs we can include. Larger defects are discussed first so the finished colour does not hide an unresolved problem.

Illustrative examples to help you plan your project.

Faded stucco to a new exterior palette.

The starting point: The finish looks tired while the surface remains generally sound.

What we can do: We plan cleaning, preparation and a compatible coating, with trim colours considered alongside the main walls.

Minor cracks addressed before painting.

The starting point: Fine cracks or local damage interrupt the surface.

What we can do: We define suitable minor repair work and explain any likely texture difference before the repaint goes ahead.

Stucco, trim and entry brought together.

The starting point: Separate colours and worn details make the exterior feel disconnected.

What we can do: We map out the stucco and detail surfaces in the quote so the crew works to one agreed colour plan.

Confirm the detailsYour colour, scope, access and date.

Before you approve the work, we make sure the details are clear:

  • Colour: your chosen colours, finishes and where each will be used.
  • Scope: preparation, approved repairs and the exact surfaces included.
  • Access: gates, planting, furniture and the route to each work area.
  • Date: the planned start and how weather changes will be handled.

Ask questions and make any changes before we begin, so we are all working toward the same result.

A little thank-you, too. You will receive a gift basket as our way of saying thank you for trusting us with your project.

Your questions, answered.

Can stucco be painted a different colour?

Yes, when the surface is sound and prepared for a suitable coating. We can plan a new colour along with the trim and doors. The condition of the stucco comes first, so loose areas, cracks and moisture concerns are reviewed before the painting scope is finalized.

Can you repair cracks before painting?

Suitable minor surface repairs can be discussed with the repaint and listed in the quote. Wider, recurring or moisture-related cracks may need a stucco specialist or further investigation. We explain what we can address and what needs resolving before the finishing work begins.

Will a repaired patch have exactly the same texture?

Not always. Existing stucco can vary in age, texture and weathering, and a repair may remain visible even after colour is unified. We explain that before work starts and discuss the finish you can reasonably expect from a local repair.

Will painting make the stucco smooth?

No. A normal repaint changes the colour while retaining the surface texture. Creating a smooth exterior would be a different type of work. If the existing texture is what you want to change, tell us at the start so the options are discussed clearly.

Can paint fix water staining or damp patches?

The source of moisture needs to be resolved first. Coating a damp or failing area does not repair a leak or building defect. Once the underlying issue is addressed and the surface is ready, we can plan the preparation and repainting for the affected area.

How do you work around windows and landscaping?

We review the access and protection needed for the wall areas being painted. Windows, nearby surfaces and planting are considered in the work plan. Let us know about delicate plants, narrow passages and anything that limits access before the quote is confirmed.
