Your questions, answered.

Can I change the exterior to a completely different colour?

Yes, subject to the material and coating requirements. Many painted surfaces can change from dark to light or to a different palette. Some materials, especially vinyl, have restrictions on darker colours. We review the surfaces before confirming your colour choices and the work needed.

Do you remove peeling paint before repainting?

Yes. Loose or failing paint needs attention so the new finish has a sound base. The quote describes the preparation for your home, including cleaning, scraping, sanding and primer where needed. We discuss damaged wood or other defects before simply covering them.

Can you include doors, trim and the garage door?

Yes. Those details can be quoted alongside the main exterior or as a focused project. We list the surfaces and colours separately so you can see what is included. Anything you want to keep as it is is protected as part of the agreed work.

Will plants, paths and windows be protected?

We plan protection around the work areas and discuss access before starting. Show us delicate planting and any nearby vehicles, furniture or belongings. We explain what needs moving, who handles it and how the crew will reach the surfaces safely.

What happens if the weather changes?

We adjust the work plan to suitable weather and surface conditions and keep you informed. Rain, temperature and damp surfaces can affect preparation and coating. Your planned start and the way updates are handled are discussed before the project begins.

How long will the new finish last?

That depends on the surface, preparation, coating, exposure and ongoing maintenance. We recommend an approach for your home and explain how to look after it. We do not give one lifespan for every wall, trim board and door, because those surfaces face different conditions.
