Sound siding can take on a fresh colour. We check the material and coating requirements before recommending a finish.
See the preparation and scope
If the siding is in serviceable condition, painting may be a practical way to refresh its appearance. The right preparation and colour choices depend on what the siding is made of and its existing finish.
We review the material, condition and access, then explain the coating approach and any repair work needed. Trim, doors and other details can be planned alongside the main walls.

Illustrative examples to help you plan your project.
Faded siding to a fresh house colour.
The starting point: The cladding is sound but the colour no longer suits the home.
What we can do: We confirm the material and a compatible finish, then plan preparation and the new colour around the existing surface.
New siding colour with coordinated trim.
The starting point: You want the main walls and detail colours to work together.
What we can do: We separate body, trim and door colours in the quote and identify where each colour starts and ends.
One worn elevation given attention.
The starting point: A sun-exposed side has aged more than the rest of the house.
What we can do: We review whether a focused repaint will meet your goal and explain how the new finish may compare with older adjacent surfaces.

Your questions, answered.
Can siding be painted instead of replaced?
Often, yes, if the material is sound and suitable for a coating. Painting can change colour and refresh an aged finish. It cannot correct loose, warped or water-damaged siding, so we identify those issues and discuss repair needs before recommending a repaint.
Can I paint vinyl siding a darker colour?
Colour choice needs care with vinyl. A darker finish may absorb more heat than the siding can tolerate. We check the siding and coating manufacturer’s guidance before approving a colour, rather than treating every dark shade as interchangeable with the existing finish.
Can you paint wood, aluminum and fibre-cement siding?
These materials can often be painted with the right preparation and compatible coating. They do not all use the same method. Send a close-up and a whole-wall photo so we can confirm the material, its condition and the scope we can provide for your home.
Is washing included before painting?
The quote includes the cleaning and preparation required for the agreed surfaces. Dirt, chalking and loose coatings need attention before painting. We choose a cleaning method suited to the material and allow the surface to reach the condition required for the coating.
Can you include window trim and doors?
Yes. We can plan those areas with the siding so the exterior feels coordinated. Each included surface, colour and preparation requirement is listed separately. This also makes it clear which details are staying as they are.
Will new paint hide damaged siding?
No. Fresh colour can improve appearance, but it will not make a warped board straight or repair moisture damage. We point out visible defects and agree on the next step before finishing. Addressing the material first gives the painting work a sound starting point.
